It was merely another mirage,

And not a thirst-quenching oasis.

But eagerly, still,

They drank their fill,

And the sand ran down their faces.

Arnold and Achilles,

Two men, so strong and mighty.

One’s weakness found within his heel,

One, in his tighty-whitey.

If circumstance and people

Are the winds that fill your sails,

You might consider switching

To a source that never fails.

I sold all my earthly possessions,

Withdrew all my cash from the bank,

Knocked off a pawn shop and liquor store

So I could put gas in my tank.

Osama bin Laden

bin hidin’, bin plottin’,

bin spotted, bin shooted,

Osama bin muted.

I shout in raptured ecstasy,

“Rejoice, my soul, rejoice!”

Oh, sweet and precious coffee pot,

Prepare my drug of choice.
